Through community-driven activities, MILO® engages young children in physical activities that allows them to experience and participate in sports! We believe that through sports, kids get to learn values like grit, discipline, teamwork and respect that will take them a long way in life! In 2023, the MILO® Building Champs program positively impacted around 4 million children in Nigeria and Ghana. Here’s how!
School Visits are at the heart of MILO® Building Champs. By partnering with the Ministry of Education and local schools, MILO® organizes sport activities and clinics that teaches the importance of breakfast and gets to engage children to get active by participating in the sports drills. These events are structured to teach them values like perseverance, self-discipline, and teamwork! All these activities create a vibrant and energetic atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on young minds.
MILO® extends the activity into Neighborhoods. These visits provide practical opportunities for children to try new sports and build confidence. More importantly, MILO® also takes the time to educate parents on the need to give kids a balanced breakfast every day, and how sports can positively shape their children's futures, fostering a supportive environment at home. Through this initiative, MILO® makes sports accessible to all children including those with special abilities!
